Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Papers - WOW!

Crafters -

Saturday was my monthly Coffee and Cards class. This is the class where you can get FREE CARDS! Yup! You know you are already going to place an order, so why not attend and make a few cards?

Well... want to see one of the FREE CARDS the crafters made? That's right - the cards were FREE because everyone in attendance placed a minimum order during the class (*one of the ladies even joined the Stampin'Up! family!).  :)

My Stamparatus arrived Friday evening (squeal!). I knew I wanted to use it for Saturday so as soon as it arrived, I started playing with the final card design. I know, I know... the other three designs were already done, cut, and into the baggies for the crafters, but since I wanted to use the new Stamparatus, I waited to design the final card.

AND SO GLAD I DID! Check it out!
My favorite card design
February 2018 Coffee and Cards Class

While I LOVED all of the cards we made, this was my absolute favorite! We played with my new Stamparatus - it was WAY more fun AFTER I found the stamp that I misplaced! We played with the BLENDS as well - Pink Pirouette, Pool Party, and Old Olive. AND we used all FOUR patterns of the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Did I mention? You can only receive the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper as a FREE SALE-A-BRATION item! That's right! You cannot purchase it from the website!

I love my crafters so much; I even CUT one of those beautiful papers into pieces. That way everyone was able to choose his or her (yes - we had one brave man attend!) flower/leaf piece to color and place on the card!

Everyone who attended will tell you - this was actually the EASIEST card to make too! Doesn't look like it, does it? But it was! Minimal stamping (made WAY easier by the Stamparatus) and minimal coloring (with the Blends)!

Want to see a few of their creations?

Next time, I'll get the rest of them to pose with their creations too! Thanks so much to Diane and Leitsa for being GREAT sports! {HUGS}

As you know, CARD KITS are always available for sale before the class (TO GO OPTION). Unfortunately, this month's card kits have sold out. Make sure you reserve YOUR KIT for the March Coffee and Cards, scheduled for March 24, 2018 from 9a-12p. Class cost is just $15 or free with a minimum purchase placed during class. (TO GO OPTION is just $5 more for the supplies - porch pickup - You will use your own stamps and inks to complete the cards in the card kit. RSVP 48 hours prior to class.)

I always make a few extras and this card design will be in my card rack (while supplies last!) on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018, at the Grove City High School Spring Band Boosters, 4665 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio. It opens at 9am. I look forward to seeing you!

Team Meeting

Crafters -

Once a month, I am blessed to get together with my team. We are called the Latte Joy Stampers. Any guesses what my favorite beverage is? Hmmmm..... may have to let that one "brew" a bit...  :)

Well, we have added a few new ladies to my team in the past few months. This past Tuesday, we were able to meet and fellowship together. And we had an absolute BLAST!

Here are the Make-And-Takes we made:
February 2018
Latte Joy Stampers Team Meeting

Betty demonstrated an Explosion Box - BIG HIT! We had some business training, we made THREE fabulous make-and-takes, and there was even a SWAP contest! We also do a random drawing for those in attendance. Betty won the random drawing, Gail won the SWAP Contest.

Gotta tell ya... I don't get a vote in the SWAP contest. This contest is voted on by their peers. ALL of the cards were absolutely beautiful! There was two-step stamping (Gail), coloring with the blends (Faye), embossing with an embossing folder I don't yet have (SO thankful to have this sample - Thanks Nancy!), and there was even a gatefold card, complete with the backordered ribbon (Betty)! These ladies share so much and so willingly with each other! I am abundantly blessed!

Are you interested in joining this team? We would LOVE to have you! I have an Opportunity Night coming up and would LOVE to talk with you and invite you! Please contact me for all the particulars! We will be having a Q&A Session, along with a couple of make-and-takes - EXCLUSIVE make-and-takes that will not be posted anywhere else. (*If you are long distance and thinking about joining my team, please contact me. We will set up a video call.)

Remember, it's always a GREAT time to join Stampin'Up! BUT, during Sale-A-Bration, you get quite a few extras, making it a deal you don't want to pass by!

How To Get FREE Cards?

Crafters -

You know I offer several classes and events each month. You can always see the most up-to-date calendar by clicking HERE.

BUT, did you know that one of my classes, the monthly Coffee and Cards Class, is just $15 for 8 cards (4 designs, 2 each design)? Very reasonable, right?

You just have to bring your favorite adhesives (SNAIL and refills, mini glue dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Fine-tip Glue Pen, whatever your favorites are!) and your scissors. All other supplies are provided.

You get to come to the class and try out a few new products, have fun and fellowship with other crafters, and leave with 8 cards with envelopes. Easy, right?

Well... Did you know that you can have you class fee waived?

When you place a minimum qualifying order during the class, your class fee is waived! FREE CARDS!

Especially during Sale-A-Bration, when you KNOW you are going to place an order anyway, why not get the free cards too and play with some of the products?

I know, right?

So, wanna see a little snippet of a few of the cards we will be making on Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 9a-12p? (RSVP extended to Friday, February 23, 2018)

LOVE them!

AND... since you've read to the end of the email, my new Stamparatus should be here and you may even see it in action. Just sayin'!

Contact me to reserve your space before the class fills up! *To Go Kits are also available*

February Ronald McDonald House

Crafters -

Once a month, I am blessed to craft at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House. Did you know that the Columbus (Ohio) Ronald McDonald House is the LARGEST in the WORLD! (

We meet the THIRD SUNDAY of each month. Stampin'Up! is a corporate sponsor of Ronald McDonald House Charities (Stampin'Up! donates time and money to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. To date Stampin'Up! has contributed over $1.5 million to RMHC and their network of local RMHC Chapters. Visit to learn how you can help.)

Each year, Stampin'Up! produces an RMHC stamp set. This year's is the Sharing Sweet Thoughts Stamp Set (available in wood or clear mount). Stampin'Up! donates $3 when you purchase that set too.

Well, yesterday was the third Sunday. It's been a little dreary and gray here in Central Ohio. Matter of fact, we even had some SNOW on Saturday! It didn't hang around long, just enough to make it COLD!

So, I pulled out some fun springtime-y colors (mostly Soft Subtles), including a few retired colors!, and some old kits that had some GREAT stickers with them! Grabbed my Magical Day stamp set and stamped a few unicorns, mermaids, knights, wizards, and even a few dragons! Placed my coloring pencils into my bag and away I went!

Check out the wonderful creations that were made!
This is how the table STARTED!

This card was made by a beautiful young lady!
AND she waited until everyone had made his or her card and came back to make an extra one!
What a sweetheart!

The inside of her card.
Talk about a wonderful young woman!

The Volunteer Coordinator, Amy, made this for one of her co-workers.
I LOVE how sweet, bubbly, and POSITIVE Amy is!
She brightens my day with her hugs upon my arrival!

This little girl sat right down and KNEW she wanted the mermaid AND the unicorn!
FABULOUS coloring job!

One of the moms made this for her 15 year old son, Z.
She told me that her other son, whom they lost when HE was 15, had made a card about 2 years ago at RMHC.
Z talks about that card and his mom wanted to make him one.
She shared that the memories are the best...

This card was made by the mom of an 8-month old.
She told me that she just took down the Christmas ornaments that we made in December.
They were really cute AND fun AND cheery!
So glad she and her son are able to enjoy the crafts she makes for him.
What memories they will have...

The inside of her card.

Mom, her two kids, AND Abigail from RMHC.
Abigail wasn't even working today but still stopped in.
I'm telling you - WONDERFUL people at Columbus RMHC!

This little girl even held up her card so I could get a good photo!
What a sweetie!

The inside of her brother's card.
He had the BEST time coloring with the pencils!

Mom's card for a new baby.
You KNOW the family is going to LOVE this card!

Please lift these families in prayer. And if you are a local Stampin'Up! demonstrator, we'd LOVE to have you join us. Our next crafting date is Sunday, March 18th, from 12p (noon) to 2p Eastern.

Crafters -

This past weekend was my Reverse Lenten Challenge Class. We made 40 notecards with envelopes and everyone was done with the class after ONLY about 2 hours! Talk about FAST STAMPERS!

(You can always see my current class schedule/upcoming events HERE.)

Seriously, several were taking theirs home to color while watching a game/TV or visiting with family/friends.

BUT, after they left, one of the card designs - I really liked! It used the (soon-to-be-retiring) 2016-2018 InColors and the A Good Day Wood Stamp Set. One of my favorites! I had already planned to make about 40 of this card design for my use. They were already cut and ready to go - just needed the stamping and coloring done.

Well.... I decided to slightly modify that design and make them into VALENTINES CARDS! WHAT FUN!!!

Check them out!

All five of the 2016-2018 InColors were used - Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, and Sweet Sugarplum. Emerald Envy is my favorite - SO going to miss that beautiful emerald green color!

The hearts are from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits - you can cut SEVEN of those little hearts at once. LOVE that die! Add a mini glue dot to the back of the hearts and it is done! I also used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush for the ice cubes and lemonade glass contents. REALLY makes them sparkle!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Party Pandas!

Crafters -

I just spent the BEST weekend at a Leadership event. We crafted, laughed a HUGE amount, and reconnected with some friends met only while crafting online. It's so nice to be able to sit across from other crafters and actually talk with them! Talk about recharging! LOVE my stampin' sistas!

I came home on Saturday night/Sunday morning (yup! after TWO days of crafting, got in the car and drove 5 hours home!). You see, I met a wonderful young lady last year at a craft fair. Well, this year, she turned 9 years old! And she and her mom asked me to do a card class for her birthday entertainment!

I had an absolute BLAST! First, Lilly and her friends were just so nice! And Lilly had a unicorn theme this year - and yes, we used the Magical Day Clear Stamp Set. BIG HIT! HUGE! One of the little girls even SQUEALED when I opened the box with that card inside! We made several cards and even a personalized notebook. Lilly's mom is a professional photographer and took LOTS of photos - can't wait to see them!!!! :)

But, because it is always fun to start with an easy card/project - and candy is ALWAYS good - we made a little valentine favor using the Party Pandas Clear Stamp Set. Want to see it?
Party Panda Valentine Favor for Lilly's Birthday Party

I'll be doing this little cutie for my Facebook Live on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 at 11:30 am (Eastern). It will be a VERY short video because this is just so easy to make!

And the kicker is... we made a VERY similar item at the Leadership event this past weekend as one of our make-and-takes! Now, I did alter the dimensions to fit the candy I chose to use, but it is almost the exact same design! YUP - I put my make-and-takes to work! AND, not to break my arm patting myself on my back, but I arrived home at 2am, got up at 7am, and had this little cutie cut and packed to be at Lilly's by 12:30pm! YUP - it is THAT quick and easy!

Look forward to "seeing" you on Wednesday at the Facebook Live! Enjoy!
