Coffee and Cards

I just LOVE this class!

You see, every month, usually the FOURTH Saturday of the month (but that is changing due to Craft Fairs), I offer a Coffee and Cards Class. You just bring your favorite coffee, adhesives, and scissors, and we make eight cards with envelopes.

The cost is just $20 or it is free with a minimum purchase placed during the class. I also offer a TO GO option (just add $5 and you can pick up your cards the next day!). If you live long distance and want the cards, let me know how you want them shipped. I can add that cost and send you an invoice.

Want to see what we made this past weekend?

Now, I had my first series class on Thursday evening (Christmas Card Series Class), so it was a LOT of fun to come up with a few additional ideas for Saturday's "regular" class. You can read about Thursday's Christmas Card Class HERE.) And since the Christmas card in this class was already designed, it was a LOT of fun with the others.

The next Coffee and Cards class is o…

Christmas Card Series Class FUN!!!!

Ok. So yesterday I posted the cards we made at the FIRST in this class series. (You can see that posting HERE.)

Want to see the crafters and all the fun we had?

We had an absolute BLAST! I think you can tell from the photos.  :)

Don't forget to tune into my Facebook page on Wednesday at 11:30 am EASTERN. I have received some of my goodies from the new Holiday catalog and I'll be sharing those with you! You can see me on my Facebook page HERE.

The next Christmas Card Class is on Thursday, September 21st. Look forward to seeing you soon! Contact me to reserve your spot now!

Christmas Card Series Classes

We had so much fun on Thursday evening playing with a few Christmas Cards!

Want to see what we made?

The Lovely As a Tree was the favorite hands down! We used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. The photo doesn't show it well, but when you place little dots of glue on the trees and then sprinkle the glitter, well, it pulls some of the color from the Tranquil Tide ink and makes a REALLY cool effect! WAY prettier IRL!

We actually had a bit of a running joke around here while crafting. I think it's time for Lovely As a Tree to go away. It's been around for a while. My friend Suzanne says it was her FIRST stamp set that she purchased ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO! and it still remains one of her favorites. **NOTE: I sold TWO of them at the class, so I guess it's here to stay for a while more...

And, as an added surprise, because my friends, customers, and team members took a chance and attended my FIRST in the Christmas Card Series Class, I also placed out my BOGO sale! …

I LOVE MY JOB!!!!

Crafters -
How often do you hear that, in a NON-sarcastic way? How often do you hear that, and KNOW that the person really means it?
You know that old saying, it goes something like this... "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life." That's it!
I retired a few years ago. I enjoyed my job. I liked most of the people I worked with. I still keep in touch with some of them through Facebook, crafting, church, etc. Matter of fact, I just saw a friend I used to work with at the grocery store the other day! That's the fun part of living in a small town environment. Seriously!
But check this out! These are a few ladies from my team and I was VERY blessed to spend a few hours with them this evening at our monthly team meeting!
And want to see what we actually made? I still like the Keurig box the best, but I think the fancy fold was the MOST enjoyed by all! And we did a new 2-step stamping using a new stamp set and some new papers and ribbon!
Actually ALL of to…

Facebook LIVE!

Did you know that I do a Facebook Live EVERY week on Wednesday?

This past Wednesday, we made these really CUTE, CUTE, CUTE! boxes for a few k-cups (coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc).

We made them at the my Summer Retreat and they were a BIG hit!

Want to see the video how to make them?

Check it out HERE on my Facebook page!

WAIT until you see what I show this week!

Look forward to seeing you on Wednesdays at 11:30 am Eastern!

Facebook LIVE - Nature Sings!

Crafters -

I really enjoy this Facebook Live thing! LOVE showing how to make cards and different tips/tricks on how to do things!

Want to see today's Facebook Live? I used Nature Sings, which is available in the big catalog, but you could VERY easily use the new Carols of Christmas bundle that is effective TODAY!

Who knew you could use my FAVORITE paper from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper for a Christmas card?

And with the Holiday catalog coming out on September 1st, there are SEVERAL sets that can be used for this design!

Ok, held you in suspense long enough. Here's the card and video on my Dawn Stock, Stampin'Up Demonstrator Facebook page!

I'm doing a WEEKLY Facebook Live EVERY WEDNESDAY at 11:30 am. I am usually done around noon so it's a nice little break for your lunchtime. Look forward to seeing you next week!
