Friday's Card Class

Well, my mom arrived safely and we have been having a VERY nice time visiting today!

I was able to get my card class ready to go and all prepped BEFORE she arrived, so we have REALLY been able to visit. (She's actually punching out flowers in her favorite colors using one of my punches as I'm typing this. It's a punch she doesn't have!).

So, I was showing her the cards that we will be making on Friday and I MADE her choose one of the card designs - SERIOUSLY - I said "Mom, you gotta pick one for me to put on my blog!"

This is the one she chose for this posting.

What do you think? I have ALWAYS loved this stamp from The Open Sea. Used my Big Shot and the Deco Framelits and it made such a quick and easy card. Remember - all six of the cards we make on Friday will be quick and easy! What a way to start the new year!

Looking forward to seeing you on Friday the 1st at 1pm! Please remember to bring your favorite adhesive and scissors. AND your favorite coloring medium, if you don't want to wait to use mine!

Everyone's cards will be different. We are each using a different printed paper and cardstock, and will color each of ours differently. I have reds, yellows, greens, blues, purples, almost every color is represented!

Cost is $10 for 6 cards OR bring 6 canned items to the class. Can't attend? Send me an email and I can mail the supplies to you! Sorry - supplies only, no stamped images. **Mailed kits are Paypal only.**

Do You Like to Color?

It's been a while since I've posted. As many of you know, I had taken a bit of a break. I was able to sit down and make some new cards the other day and just had an ABSOLUTE BLAST!

One of my upcoming resolutions is to begin having card classes again. I thank you for those who have contacted me about having them. I'm so glad you enjoy them!

I'm on several email listings and received some the other day from some Big Box stores. Each of them mentioned that they were offering those Coloring Books for Adults. Which got me to thinkin... Why not offer a card class that WE can color? And then we have cards to send! YEAH!

Check out what I made the other day:

The printed papers are retired but the stamp set is current. And these were SO. STINKIN. EASY. to make!

So, I'm going to offer a Coloring Card Class on Friday, January 1st, from 1p-3p. You may want to use that time to leave your home in the event there is some kind of game party going on at that time. :)  FYI - My wonderful hubby has advised that he will make it that we can also view the game with that scarlet and gray team while here, but it will not be our main focal point...

WIN - WIN for everyone! SCORE!!!!

AND, to really start the year out right, we will be using:
  • Cards and papers will all be precut, ready for stamping and assembly,
  • Different retired printed papers,
  • Some retired cardstocks,
  • Maybe even a retired punch or two,
  • Some retired accessories,
  • Several different stamp sets (current stamp sets),
  • All will be stamped using Black ink,
  • All can be colored using YOUR favorite coloring medium (I have LOTS of different colored pencils for all to share, OR you can bring your own - please have your name/marking on them),
  • YOU will pick your card supplies from those available - choose YOUR favorite colors!
  • Adhesive is NOT included (please bring your own)
  • Cost is $10 for 6 cards/envelopes OR bring 6 canned items to be donated to the Food Pantry
  • Extra cards will be available for $1 per card

For those who RSVP, you will also make a box for your six (6) cards. IF you bring a friend (someone new to me), you can EACH make three (3) extra cards!

Please RSVP by December 31st. You will get to see/meet my mom and we will have my Grandma's coffee cake for our snack. Feel free to bring your own drink with a covered lid.

See you on January 1st!

Boughs & Berries Embossing Folder - Stampin' Up!

Whew! It has been a whirlwind week at our home! As many of you know, my mom is in Ohio visiting with us (and she's such a good cook - we are hoping that she stays a little bit longer!).

But this past weekend, we were able to attend Ronda Wade's Creative Convention in that state up north. I posted last week and showed our Shoebox Swap cards, along with mom's "regular" swap cards. SO. MUCH. FUN!

Well, to save time, we mainly stamped the cards that we made and then brought them home to put together (or put them together til something like 2 am...). Mom had most of hers put together but I'm working on two other projects right now - both non-stamping related - and I'll show pictures of the one project in about 10 days. It's for the boy's birthday, but since it's a surprise, I won't say anymore other than - it's been a bit time consuming!

SO, mom just had a couple of cards left to put together. Since she doesn't know where I squirrel away everything in my craft studio, it's just easier for me to stamp at the same time (any excuse to stamp, huh?). So we both stamped a couple of cards.

One of the card designs at the Shoebox swap used a stamp set that I had, so we just took the pieces and parts and ran. Once we got them home though, we both had a different idea for the card design.

The designer of this card already had everything cut out and embossed and used non-traditional Christmas colors - LOVE when we think outside of the box! But I wanted to use something a little different using my World of Dreams stamp set. Since all the pieces were already there, here is what I came up with:
World of Dreams

Gotta have a matching Very Vanilla Envelope, right?

The designer of the card already had the Wild Wasabi cardstock embossed with the Berries & Boughs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - LOVE THIS THING - but remember - it's a different size! She also had the So Saffron and Smoky Slate pieces diecut using her Ovals Collection Framelits and a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock for the artwork. I also used several markers from the Many Marvelous Markers. Real Red (Brights Collection), Wild Wasabi (Subtles Collection), Crumb Cake and Soft Suede (both in the Neutrals Collection).

While I was making mine, mom worked on hers. She altered hers slightly. This is what she came up with using the new All Ye Faithful and Wonderland stamp sets:
All Ye Faithful and Wonderland

Mom put her Wild Wasabi embossed piece on Whisper White cardstock and since the oval was already diecut using the Ovals Collection Framelits... She used the Jet Black StazOn stamp pad for the Holy Family from the All Ye Faithful stamp set and colored them with an aqua painter using Brushing Bride, So Saffron, Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder, and Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pads. For the pinecombs and boughs stamp of the Wonderland stamp set, she used the Crumb Cake marker (Neutrals Collection Stampin' Write Markers) and Mossy Meadow marker (2014-2016 InColor Stampin' Write Markers).

And just to show how you can use the same design but it look very different, here they are side by side:
Totally different, but still the same

We have been having just the best time - can you tell? Hope you have enjoyed the cards!

These are mom's swap cards from this weekend - LOVE how fast she put them together!

Mom used the following items. Remember, the items will not be available until September 1st!

I'll post more later but in the meantime - Enjoy!

Wonderland - Stampin' Up!

Still here in Michigan! This fun weekend goes through tomorrow - SATURDAY! YEAH!

My mom was able to stay most of the summer with us so I conned, I mean asked, if she wanted to go to this mini Convention with me. Guess what she said - YES! Aren't moms just wonderful? Especially when they are crafters too!

So... how about a peek at HER Shoebox Swap card from last night?

Wonderland - Close-up

Pretty, huh? She has such a good eye! First, I'll let you in on all the supplies she used, then a little story about the ribbon!

Don't you think this new Wonderland Stamp Set is just the prettiest? She also used Lots of Joy Stamp Set for the Merry Christmas sentiment. Her card base was the Whisper White Thick Cardstock (LOVE-LOVE-LOVE this stuff!). She used HER new favorite color, Mossy Meadow Cardstock and topped that with the plaid from the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper. Then she used her new Scallop Tag Topper Punch (it was a weekly deal a bit ago - she just got it and LOVES IT!).

To do the heat embossing, since we don't carry a Mossy Meadow embossing powder (YET! - wouldn't that be a nice color to have?), she really inked up the Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin' Pad with her Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin' Ink Refill and then used the Clear Embossing Powder. Now, this is not how it has been designed to work, but there's always a workaround, right? Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.

After it was all embossed, she then ran it through the new Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Added a VERY nice Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Cotton Ribbon, and viola! A masterpiece!

Now, a little backstory about the ribbon. Mom's initial design didn't use the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. But, it made the card really cute! And she wanted a little pop of color with it. And since the little hole was already there, had to use some ribbon, right? Well... I have SO MUCH RETIRED ribbon, it really is quite sad. But, she decided that she liked some of my old Real Red ribbon. Yeah... guess what color I DIDN'T have?! You got it! I called about 10 local demonstrators - you know who you are - thanks for looking! I found one demo who had about 4 yards on a roll, and a friend/demo who had about 4 yards on a roll, but... yeah... not enough! Each card uses about 12 inches of ribbon. What to do? What to do?

Many of you know how much I absolutely ADORE the Rich Razzleberry color. YUP! So I had almost a full roll, still not enough! Thanks to ANOTHER friend of mine, she actually had TWO rolls that we traded. The barter system is alive and well with Stampin' Up! demonstrators!

Thanks so much ladies for helping us out! Hope you enjoy Mom's card (and the backstory!).

All Ye Faithful - Stampin' Up!

By the time you read this post, I will be in that state "up north." For those in the midwest, specifically Ohio State University fans, you know that I mean Michigan. :)

I'm attending a mini Convention with Ronda Wade! And Sandy Haynes has coordinated a Shoebox Swap that begins at 7pm Eastern. So, I wanted to show you my Shoebox Swap card.
All Ye Faithful

Close up

What do you think? The new All Ye Faithful Stamp set is my FAVORITE from this catalog!

Two different embossing powders - Cherry Cobbler and Black - both on the Shimmery White paper. I think that really looks nice (click on the photo and you can get a close up).

The red printed paper is from the new Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper. One of my NEW FAVORITES! Then I used Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler cardstocks. And did you see the really pretty embossing folder that I used? YUP! That's the new Boughs & Berries Textured Impressions Embossing Folder! GORGEOUS! (FYI - it is a slightly different size, so it doesn't exactly fit our regular A2 card size, but something this pretty can ALWAYS be used!)

Throw on a little bit of a Tea Lace Paper Doily and finish it with the new Gold Cording Trim - LOVE IT! So many layers but such an easy card! I also used the Whisper White Thick cardstock for the card base. WOW! Is that stuff nice!

I've included the links on this posting, but they won't be LIVE until September 1st. If you already have your new Holiday catalog, you can look at that. Don't have a new Holiday catalog yet? Let me know! I'd LOVE to be your demonstrator!

Waterfall Card - Stampin' Up!

Don't you just LOVE birthdays? Sometimes, we have milestone birthdays! You know the ones I'm talking about. For those who are younger, they may look forward to turning 16 (or 15.5 in some states!), turning 18, 19, 21, 25, even 29. Then we may (or may not!) look forward to some of the others for us who are young at heart - 30, 40, 50, even 60 and 70!

Well... (pause for dramatic effect)

One of my friends, and a fellow crafter, her husband and my husband work together! Her husband asked my husband for a birthday card for her, his lovely wife. And the last time she was at a card class here, she let me know that she would be turning 40 this year! Such a young 'un! At the card class, we were wishing we were turning 40! (huge smile!)

I just KNEW she was looking forward to a special card from her hubby! Game on, right? I definitely had to bring my "A Game" to make this card. No pressure; she'll only turn 40 once, right?

Because I just LOVE the English Garden DSP and how it looks with the Blushing Bride Cardstock, I wanted to use those two in her card. I LOVE all of the designs in the package, but the Blushing Bride/flower design is one of my favorites. The colors that are on this particular print are Blushing Bride, Hello Honey, Old Olive, and Soft Suede. All are on a white background, so I also used Whisper White cardstock.

And because I LOVE the new Bold Butterfly Framelits, along with their matching Butterfly Thinlits (how can you order one with out the other? It's like peanut butter and jelly - they just go together!), I wanted to use the Bold Butterflies with this card. And I thought the small butterfly would look nice, but how to coordinate all of these items? What to do? What to do?

So I pulled out an oldie-but-a-goodie! Anyone make a Waterfall Card lately? These are SO. MUCH. FUN. It really has been YEARS since I've made one of those!

Check it out!

Isn't it pretty? I did take a video of how this card looks when complete, and if I can figure out how to add it to this blog, I will! Basically, to give you an idea, you gently pull the Silver 1/8" Ribbon and each butterfly cascades. So you first see this blushing bride, then the hello honey butterfly, then the soft suede, then the old olive. Finally, when all the butterflies have "flown," you see the message. I also added a message inside the card for her husband.

Hope you enjoy the card!

Latte Joy Team Meeting - Stampin' Up!

Grab a cup of coffee or tea - there are a LOT of photos in this blog post!

On Saturday, July 11th, we had our Team Meeting. There are five of us in our local group, but two were unable to attend. I try to set up the room(s) the night before, but on this particular day, it wasn't until the morning of the meeting. My helper, Cocoa, is showing that he set up the Big Shot station! Oh wait! That durn opposable thumb issue!  :)
The calm before the storm

Nina and Sandie were able to attend (we missed you Charlene and Jeannette!). We get together once a quarter to talk business and share ideas. Here's a photo of the three of us.
The Three Amigas!
A good time was had by all!

We started with the business portion, going over upcoming dates that Stampin' Up! provides for us. We all agreed that we cannot wait for the Holiday Catalog. As demonstrators, we can preorder in August, and it will go LIVE to our customers on September 1st. (If you have placed an order with me since the new catalog came out, yours will be mailed to you in mid-August.)

Then we started the really fun part! The Shoebox Swaps! We each bring a card design to the meeting. Here we are - hard at work!
You can see Cocoa in the background on the right.
He's keeping us on task!

Nina is a Big Shot Pro!

You already saw the card that my friend Andrea Withers sent to me HERE, well... here's my variation on her You've Got This stamp and I think we all agreed this is a GREAT go-to stamp set:
You've Got This Stamp Set

Here's the card I made for our Shoebox Swap. It may look VERY familiar to you as this card design is ALL OVER the internet! I have no idea who came up with the original idea, but everyone seems to use the fern stamp from Butterfly Basics and the Brick Embossing Folder, completing it with sponging and a butterfly.
Butterfly Basics
**We are making a variation of THIS card
during Saturday's Watercolor Wings card class too!**

Nina had us playing with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and the White Christmas Stamp Set. If this 3-D item looks familiar, you know your catalog well! Check out page 68 of the catalog! She picked up her peppermint (and horehound!) sticks from Cracker Barrel. Gonna have to make my way there! Gold heat embossing, watercoloring with our Aqua Painters, fussy cuts - definitely need the Paper Snips!, some bling with our Basic Rhinestones, and SUGAR - who wouldn't have fun with this?!
Nina's Treat Bag
* The Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine is not in this photo. *
Dawn's Treat Bag
No candy here yet!

And Sandie went with a classic and made it monochromatic. And we used the itty bitty pearls from the Pearl Basic Jewels on each of the flowers! Really an elegant card! The Thoughts and Prayers stamp set has ALWAYS been a favorite of mine and we use it A LOT! Sandie also used the Papillon Potpourri and Butterfly Basics stamp sets. Doesn't the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder look nice with this? Oh - and although this looks like it was made with Basic Black and Whisper White, it is actually used with Night of Navy and Whisper White
Sandie's Monochromatic Card
Using Night of Navy
I tried this same design but used the colors from the Regals Collection. Of course, I had to use my Regals Stampin' Write Markers on this.
Dawn's card using Regals

Hope you have enjoyed the great ideas! You can tell, I have a WONDERFUL and VERY TALENTED group of ladies that I get to work with!

Watercolor Wishes Card Kit - Stampin' Up!

Crafters  -

Today, I am anxiously awaiting Mr. Brown (that's the UPS guy) to deliver my package from Stampin' Up! I only ordered one item but it's an item I have been waiting for - since MAY! You see, as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, we get a few sneak peeks. One of them was the catalog. It came with our preordered items in May. That way, we can look through the catalog and prepare for our classes and kinda look at all the items in the new catalog.

My catalog had sticky notes all over it! And I had a Wish List about a mile long (slight exaggeration there)! Well, I saw the Watercolor Wishes Stamp Set on page 80 of the catalog and thought "Yeah! I WANT this set! It has so many great sayings!" Anyone else think that?

Then I read the fine print underneath "Clear block included * Exclusively available as part of the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit (p.155)" and I thought "Well, ok, that'll still work! And I'll have 20 cards! Cool!!!"
Watercolor Wishes Card Kit

So, to the TOP of my Wish List it went! Yeah....

Ever notice something? When you wash your car? Then it rains? Yeah.... I'm that guy (or gal, in this case)!

Because I REALLY wanted that stamp set and kit, yeah... it rained. I mean, Stampin' Up! advised that it wouldn't be available until mid-July. Is this the point I say "You're Welcome" because you have me to thank for washing my car? I mean, for putting this set at the top of MY Wish List?

I even missed the small print on the photo in the catalog (page 80) that states "*The Watercolor Wishes Card Kit will be available July 2015."

Stampin' Up! made the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit available on JULY 1st! I placed MY order for it on JULY 1st (at some horrible hour like 5:30 am! EEK!).

And it is due to arrive TODAY!!!!

And, to tie this all together...

Remember yesterday? I blogged about my Stampin' Up! friend Andrea Withers? You can read that post HERE.

Guess who is in the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wishes Card Kit Video? ANDREA WITHERS!!!! She is such a ROCK STAR!!!!

Now YOU can see her. She is just as nice as she is pretty! And such a CARD herself at the end of the video! Don't know about you but I'm one of those geeks that always stays til the end of the movie to watch the credits. So glad I did with this video. I got to see her! Hi Andrea!  :)  (When you meet her, tell her you saw her video!)

As I was watching the video, I told my husband "That sounds like my friend, Andrea!" And it WAS her!

Seriously, I was glad to be able to see her and her smile. Doesn't she had just one of those perfect smiles? She really is just like that in person. And I'm so thankful and blessed that I was able to work with her all those years ago as a Make-and-Take Helper at a Stampin' Up! Convention. (Can't wait to get my Watercolor Wishes Card Kit today too!)

You've Got This - Stampin' Up!

Crafters  -

You already know what a GREAT company Stampin' Up! is. Their products are wonderful, the cardstock matches the ink matches the buttons matches the ribbon, etc. Wonderful!

Well, let me tell you about one of their wonderful people - the lovely Andrea Withers! I'm confident that many of the Stampin' Up! demonstrators know her. She's just the sweetest person you will EVER meet (IMHO).

I have blogged about Andrea a few times.
  • At Convention 2011, when I was a Make-and-Take Helper.
  • At the Chattanooga Regional 2012, when she saw me standing in line. AND SHE REMEMBERED ME! I tell you, these young kids nowadays have WONDERFUL memories!  :)
  • At Leadership 2013, when she was one of the speakers for the Ramping Up Your Social Media Presence.
I also saw her at the April 2014 Unite and Excite in Columbus and thought I had a photo and blogged about it, but I guess not ???? She told me at that time that she was taking a few college classes and we discussed it.

So, fast-forward to the end of June. The lovely Andrea called me about something and left me a message wondering if I was going to go to Convention 2015. As many of you know, my father passed away in February. We are having his Celebration of Life party on July 25th. That is the final day of Convention. Playing a fun game of Phone Tag, I called her back and left her a message explaining that no, I would not be attending and why. I also wished her luck with Convention and hoped she was doing well.

Guess what I received in today's mail?

She wrote a beautiful note to me about how sorry she was for the loss of my father and that she was sending me hugs from SLC! She even signed it with "hugest hugs! {heart} Andrea Withers." This is not something you receive from just someone on the other end of the telephone. This is something you receive from a very thoughtful person. Thank you Andrea for sending me such a nice note!

AND my team meeting is THIS Saturday. I already have my Shoebox Swap ready to go, but I think this will make a really nice card for each of us to make! The stamp set is a WONDERFUL set called You've Got This. The card base is Tip Top Taupe cardstock, Mint Macaron Classic Stampin' Pad is the green background design, Watermelon Wonder Classic Stampin' Pad is the flower, the sentiment is stamped in Tip Top Taupe Classic Stampin' Pad, and it looks like the flower and stem are stamped using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. It looks like she used a bit of Silver Foil behind the flower. She used her 2-3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch and 1-3/4" Circle Punch to punch out the center. At least, that's what it looks like to me. And that's what we will be doing on Saturday!

So Andrea - thanks so much for the note card and wishes inside, and thanks so much for the GREAT idea for my team meeting!

Online Quilting Cards Class - Stampin' Up!

Happy July 1st!!!

We celebrated hubby's birthday last month - and am STILL so thankful he continues to improve from his CRASH in APRIL!!! We were out in the sun the other day and I could see where he has healed on his face, because the skin is still a different color. His knee is still healing, slowly but surely (and don't call Shirley! - Anyone else remember that movie? Leave me a note in the comments section, if you do!)

ANYWAY, I digress! When hubby had his crash, I had several wonderful ladies at my home with me for my One Sheet Wonders Class. When we were crafting the cards, the quilting card was a big hit, so it got me a-thinkin'!

Quilting Cards Class
July 2015

How about a class on QUILTING CARDS? The card design we made in that April class was a big hit, so I came up with a few other designs.

Here's the grouping of the four cards in the July 2015 Online Quilting Cards Class:
Quilting Cards
July 2015 Online Class

For those quilters out there, you probably recognize all of the patterns! I'm not a quilter (YET!), although I am working on my first "REAL" quilt. The designs I patterned the cards after are, going clockwise from the top left (the whisper white card), the designs are Card Trick, Flying Geese, Basket, and Half Square Triangle patterns.

All cards used the English Garden Designer Series Paper AND the English Garden Cardstock Pack (I did throw in a little Blushing Bride and Night of Navy on one of the cards). And your 1" Square Punch is INVALUABLE in this class! There are a few extras used within the card designs too!

How do you sign up for this Online Quilting Class? It's EASY!

  • Place an online order of $50 (before shipping and taxes) with me during the month of July 2015
  • Use Host Code XBFBRY4G
  • Send me an email after you place your order - that way I can send it to you right away!

All instructions are emailed to you in PDF form with your list of supplies.

Hope you enjoy this online class as much as I did designing it!

Cottage Greetings and Backorders from Stampin' Up!

Don't you just LOVE the new catalog?! I know I do! I may have to go back to work to be able to afford ALL of the items I want from the catalog. Is it bad to want just about EVERYTHING in the catalog? Ah... if I would win the lottery... oh well! I'm very blessed and thankful that I was able to retire, but I really wish I could have seen the new catalog before I did! :)

Seriously though, I do have a Wish List, just like many of you. I budget each quarter based on my class schedule and my personal "wants." The next few months of my classes were based on BOTH of those! I love when I can combine those (so does my hubby!).

My first class with this new catalog is the Cottage Greetings Class. The reservation deadline has already passed and I have placed the order. Everything I ordered shipped and the order is supposed to be here early next week.

Well... and because I have everything already for the class, I don't usually check the "Backorder Report" from Stampin' Up!, but I did today. WOW! Looks like everyone else really likes the Cottage Greetings Kit AND Cottage Greetings Clear-mount Stamp Set too! The Cottage Greetings Wood-mount Stamp Set is currently available. Here's the Backorder Report from Stampin' Up! I'm only posting this so you know what's available when. FYI - The Cottage Greetings items can still be ordered, they are just on backorder.

Cottage Greetings - Stampin' Up!

I have been working on my Craft Room for the past week. I have NO IDEA how I have so much stuff! Thanks to all of you who have purchased some of my retired items. Several of you have already received your items and I really appreciate the nice emails from you! Thanks! Hope you enjoy your goodies!

BUT, now that I have most of my stuff into the right cubbies in my Craft Room, I actually got to play with my order that arrived on MONDAY! I think that it is almost a CRIME to have it sit there all week without any attention! Especially since I do have to prepare for my class at the end of the month! See? It's all about the business, huh?  (wink-wink!)

So, I grabbed my new Cottage Greetings Stamp Set and its coordinating Cottage Greetings Card Kit, and I prepped for my class. The RSVP date is Friday, June 12th (your payment is your RSVP). PayPal buttons are on the CLASSES page for your convenience. FYI - You do not have to have PayPal to pay, you will be taken to that page and then you can pay by credit card.

For the class on June 27th, we will be making one of each of the three card designs in the kit, but my crafters will also be making a surprise fourth card. Want to see a sneak peek of that fourth card?

LOVE IT! AND we are using almost every stamp of the 12 stamps in the set! Do you recognize that silver butterfly? That's right! It's the smaller butterfly in the Bold Butterfly Framelits. THAT's the next thing I'm gonna pull out and play with too! Because THAT's the July class - see? Again, business! That's what I tell my hubby when I place my orders, too!

I put together my set of the cards tonight from the kit. I think it took me all of 15 minutes for ALL 3 of the cards! This kit really is that easy!

As you can tell, I copied the cards directly from the directions. If you are looking for a really quick (and I mean, REALLY QUICK!) card idea or gift, this is DEFINITELY what you are looking for! The directions even tell you exactly what color to stamp! I've been doing this a long time and the Cottage Greetings Card Kit is, BY FAR, the easiest kit I have EVER used! Have you priced cards lately in the store? This kit is a STEAL at just $16 too!

Although you will use all of the enamel dots on the three cards, and the Basic Grey Baker's Twine is all used, I was able to punch out a few things from the leftover Silver Foil Sheet that came with the kit! I even had a few of the sequins leftover; BOTH sizes! My crafters will see what we will do with those little beauties on Saturday, June 27th!

If you haven't yet registered for the class, GO! REGISTER! And don't forget to bring your favorite adhesive(s), refills, and scissors to the class!

I look forward to seeing you on June 27th at 9am! Enjoy!
