Doughnuts and Cards Class - Stampin' Up!

Crafters -

The new year will be here NEXT WEEK! WOW! I'm so excited about 2015!

You see, I am able to retire in 2015! YEAH!!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong. I LOVE my job. I LOVE the people I work with and work for! If I didn't have this job, I would have NEVER met my husband (yes, blind dates do work! Thanks to my friend Theresa for introducing me to hubby all those years ago!)

But, I digress... The Coffee and Card Hour that we did in September, October, and November, was a really good idea. Everyone liked that they could stop in and make a card and be done in an hour. But the class needed tweaked a little. So, tweak I did!

On Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 9a-10a, we will be having a Doughnuts and Cards Class. The cost is $10 to make 3 cards in the 1 hour. You will need to bring your adhesive, or I will have some available for sale here.

Want to see the cards we will be making? Talk about some SNEAK PEEKS from the upcoming Spring Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochure!
January 24, 2015 Cards
Doughnuts and Cards Class

All are notecard size. All supplies are available beginning January 6th and ending on March 31st.

From left to right:

  • Lotus Blossom Stamp Set. This is a FREE stamp set with a qualifying Sale-a-Bration order. All five colors of the new 2014-2016 InColors are used on this card. It also has an inside greeting.
  • Butterflies Thinlits Die. This is a set of THREE different butterfly thinlits and they are beautiful! The cost of these three thinlits is just $24.95! Imagine how many cute cards you can make with this! I paired this butterfly card with the Petite Pairs Stamp Set. This should be a less than 5-minute card, but does take about 10 minutes total because you have to get rid of all those little pieces from the die cutout. It is so easy - regardless of the time! And we added a little bling of Rhinestone Basic Jewels Embellishments for his body.
  • Moon Lake Stamp Set. You saw this stamp set used over the weekend at my Open House. Here's just another easy way to use it. We stamped and then colored it with miscellaneous colored pencils.
Two of the cards are NO LAYER CARDS! So easy to send AND make!

Oh, I did mention that I would have some doughnuts here to celebrate on January 24th, right? My 25 year work anniversary is actually at the end of the month, but doughnuts are good anytime!

Contact me to reserve your spot now!

Sneak Peek - Moon Lake - Stampin' Up!

Crafters -

We had so much fun this weekend. Several crafters stopped over on Sunday to pick up the Spring Occasions Catalog, along with the Sale-a-Bration brochure.

For those who placed an order in the past six months, they also received a little gift in their bag with their catties. Those who came really enjoyed them!

If you were unable to stop over on Sunday, please give me a call! I have a baggie set aside for those who placed an order in the past six months. We just have to get together to get them to you! (And your little gift is in the bag too!)  **If you already have a demonstrator, please contact her for your catties. If you don't - I LOVE to be your demonstrator!

During Sunday's Open House, I had set out some baggie books. I started doing these this year and I really like them! What happens is, you take a stamp set and there are four, five, and sometimes MORE, samples inside the baggie book. It is just a small way to allow you to look at a certain stamp set and get four, five, and sometimes MORE ideas! We all know we should be good stewards of our money, and this baggie book gives you several ways to use that one stamp set. What a GREAT way to get our money's worth!

And, because these crafters, gave up some of their Sunday afternoon to stop over, we also made a card using some NEW STUFF from the upcoming Spring Occasions Catalog. The Spring Occasions Catalog goes live on January 6th.

Check out the card we made:

Card made Sunday, December 22 with crafters
Moon Lake Stamp Set
New in the Spring Occasions Catalog
Beginning January 6, 2015

It uses the new stamp set called Moon Lake. There are three designs and three sayings. I can see me using this for SEVERAL masculine card designs and am already thinking of some sketches to use for the Church Card Ministry!  *HINT: Check back later this week and you will see another design made with this stamp set. We will be using it on the January Card Hour. Guess I'm going to have to start a baggie book for this set too, huh?  ;)

And do you recognize the Designer Series Paper? No? Well, let me tell you - you will LOVE this paper. It is called the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack and there are 48 sheets in a padded stack (4 each of 12 double-sided designs). The paper stack is 4.5" x 6.5" - so they are PERFECT for cards or to cut up and use on several cards! These look like photo quality prints too! LOVE - LOVE - LOVE this new paper!

Look forward to seeing you soon!

We will be making this card organizer. Do you recognize the stamp sets? You probably have see the Feel Goods Stamp Set before, but what about the flower stamp? Hmmm... You got it! It's a Sneak Peek from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure. It's called Lotus Blossom and it is my FAVORITE - and since it is FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a qualifying purchase - DOUBLE SCORE! The Lotus Blossom Stamp Set is available beginning January 6th, 2015.

January Card Bash, Occasions Catalog, and Sale-a-Bration Brochure - Stampin' Up!

Ok, how about you? I am like the cobbler. His children have no shoes!  :)  Am I alone in this? I have the cards. They are made. I just gotta address them and send 'em! How do I miss sending the cards?!

I not only missed my wonderful friend Donna Jean's birthday on Sunday, but I also missed my friend Elaine's birthday on Saturday! Sorry ladies - I will be getting your cards to you this week! And I am sending the last of the Snowman Bookmarks this week too. Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!

On Saturday, I was able to attend a FAN-TAB-U-LOUS class, actually TWO classes! You know it's really good when I drive FOUR (YES, 4!!!) hours ONE-WAY to that state up north. I'm not going to mention any names, but I live in the Columbus, Ohio area, so I'm confident that even the most non-sports-oriented people can figure out which state I visited on Saturday.  :)

Ronda Wade had a Saturday ALL-DAY class, with an optional class in the evening. Of course, I signed up for both! However, since it was a four-hour drive home, I got all the pieces and parts and figured that I could put it together, once I got home. So I did my stamping and visiting, and then headed home. All these ideas kept going through my mind! I just LOVE when I get to be the student at a class!

Here's a picture of the table at home with my LOTS of stuff on it. Can you identify anything in this mess?

Hmmm... The Big Shot on the left is easy. The paper on the top - easy. Ribbon, easy. You've seen the Snowman bookmarks HERE, I'm sending the last ones out this week.

But do you notice the notebook under the blue box? Gee, I wonder - What could that be? You guessed it! It's the January Card Bash Celebrations class!

Card Bash Celebrations Class!
On Sunday, January 11th, from 1p-6p, I will be offering a Card Bash Celebrations Class! Did you notice - 1pm until 6pm - 5 hours?! We will have a light lupper (lunch/supper) around 4pm. With this class, you will make the Card Organizer AND 20 cards! We will be using the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit, found on page 197 of the big catty. The cost for the class and lupper is $40. For additional details, feel free to look on the CLASSES page. The most up-to-date information is always listed there.
**You will need to bring your adhesive, including Sticky Strip, to class!**
Must register and prepay by December 22nd, 2014.

This would make a GREAT gift for the crafter in your life!

Spring Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Brochure
Oh - almost forgot! NOT!!!! The Spring Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Brochure are in the center of the photo! If you have placed an order from me in the past six months, you will receive a copy of BOTH! I ordered them as soon as I could and they should be here by Friday! I'll get those in the mail to you (for those long-distance crafters). If you are local, feel free to give me a call and stop over to get yours on Sunday, December 21st, from 1p-3p!

Haven't placed an order in the past six months?
Give me a call!
I'd LOVE to be YOUR demonstrator!

Christmas Gifts - Your Thoughts? And some BLOG CANDY! - Stampin' Up!

Crafters -

Got a question for you. Please feel free to leave a comment below.

And to make it really interesting, I would like to offer some BLOG CANDY!!

You will receive the cards in the photo below. Leave your comment by Saturday, December 6th at midnight (Eastern time). I will draw one name on Sunday, December 7th. The winner will have until Wednesday, December 10th to email your name and snailmail address to me. That way you will receive these in plenty of time for Christmas! (**NOTE: Your name will only be entered once and this is limited to U.S. residents only).

So my question involves something I saw on a Facebook group today. The lady posted a question about giving a gift for a gift exchange at work. She was going to make the cookie mix in a jar, decorate it, and gift that for her coworker gift exchange. They have a $15 limit. I thought the cookie mix in a jar was a GREAT idea, but I like homemade gifts.

I feel that by being the recipient of a homemade gift, it shows me that the person took the time to make something FOR ME! They might not have known that I would receive the green decorated gift over the blue, but they knew they were making a gift that would be given to me. I like that kind of thoughtfulness.

Every year, I give a set of cards to the boy's teachers. Typically, I include 10-12 cards. I include Birthday, Thinking of You, Sympathy, Get Well, Cancer (What Cancer Cannot Do), and even a few blank cards. It changes every year! My husband makes the best Buckeyes BAR NONE!!!!! and we have included those in the past too. I have always received nice "Thank You" notes from the teachers.

So my question to you is... What do YOU think? Many of you who read this blog are cardmakers and crafters. Do YOU give a gift of cards? What has been the response to your gifts?

Several years ago, I gave a set of cards to my friend Rayma. Rayma plays the keyboard at our church and we have been in a few classes together over the years. I LOVE what she told me. She told me that she thought long and hard before she sent out one of my cards. She even used the words about sending a "Dawn card" to someone. I thought that was so nice! I make cards throughout the year and I always make extras "for later."

By making cards all year long, it allows me to have a number of cards to choose from for gifts. When I gift the cards, I take a long piece of ribbon and tie it around the set of cards. Some are plain, some are fancy, some are very feminine with glitter and flowers, and others are masculine.

Here is a photo of just some of my cards. I pulled out a box and just grabbed a handful. You may recognize some from previous card classes. Others you may have never seen before on this blog!
Just a few of my many cards!

Very eclectic mix of cards. Almost all are made with Stampin' Up! products because that's what I do! Some use retired products, because I keep many of the sets and papers that I really like. Others use current merchandise. But you do see the "cancer" card on the bottom left? That card is always a favorite. I made about 50 of them a few years ago and am now almost out of them. That one is made from NON-Stampin' Up! product (although the Butterfly punch is Stampin' Up!).

What do YOU think? Do YOU like handmade cards and handmade gifts? Do YOU like that type of gift better than a store-bought gift or even a gift card?

Leave your comment below and YOU may receive this set of cards. My gift to you! Hope you enjoy the card designs and I look forward to reading your comments!

Free Snowman Bookmark - Stampin' Up!

Crafters -

I don't know about you, but I cannot wait for midnight to arrive!

Stampin' Up's Online Extravaganza begins soon!

In case you missed it, Stampin' Up! has LOTS on sale! Make sure you look at the dates! Some are one day only, some are the first day only, some are the last day only, and others go the whole time!

You can see that list HERE.

But, back to the Free Snowman Bookmark. My friend Bev made these for our Church's Card Ministry Fundraiser earlier this month and they sold like HOTCAKES! Now mine are a little different than Bev's... I just received my Little Pieces Edgelit and thought that would work for the little buttons! So here's a close-up of mine.
Snowman Bookmark

And here's what the Snowman looks like, front and back.
Snowman Bookmark
Front and Back

Do you see a little bit of an orange package sticking out on the back of Mr. Snowman? Hm... I wonder what it could be? If you know me, and many of you do, you know how much I LOVE my chocolate (almost as much as my coffee!!).

That's right! It's a KitKat bar! One of those mini ones like the Trick-or-Treaters just received! It's the perfect size! The design I made fits those thin little candy bars perfectly. Trust me - I tried the little Milky Way and Snickers bars but those are just not the right size. Hershey's, Crunch bars, KitKats, THOSE fit nicely!

ANY HOO... When you place your $50 online merchandise order, using Hostess Code WUVBEGJB during Stampin' Up!'s Online Extravaganza, I will send you one of these little cuties as my Thank You for your order! Please note that just as every snowflake is different, each of the snowmen are different too!

Remember, during this sale, you can order a few of the past Paper Pumpkin kits, even if you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber! Don't forget about the Clearance Rack and the Weekly Deals too. The Weekly Deals change on Tuesday.

After you place your online order using the Hostess Code, please send me an email. I'll get one of these cuties out to you right away!

In case you want to make one yourself, here is the supply list. You can click on each item and it will take you directly to my online store. Just don't forget to use the Hostess Code!

Simply Snowflake - Paper Pumpkin - Stampin' Up!

Crafters -

Stop right now, if you do not want to see the November 2014 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Simply Snowflake. How stinkin' cute?!

If you are reading this via email, you will need to go to my blog (HERE) to view the video. The link doesn't seem to go through the email system. One of those great cyber-wonders to me!

Christmas Cards - Noel Paper Pumpkin - Stampin' Up!

Crafters -

I know all of us LOVE a great deal, and I am absolutely no different!

Stampin' Up! has been offering their past Paper Pumpkin kits on the website (you can see them HERE). These are so easy to make! The only thing is... you have to be a subscriber to get in on these deals.

Stampin' Up! began offering to their demonstrators (that's me!) this really wonderful deal! As a demonstrator, I could order LAST year's Christmas card design, but wait! There's more! They added several refill kits, and basically, I was able to order 16 Christmas cards in one Party Pack! The idea was to showcase these during workshops, events, etc.

Well, for those of you who attended the November Coffee and Card Hour, you MADE one of those cards. Weren't those easy? Here's a picture of the card, along with the tags, that we made earlier this month.
November Coffee and Card Hour

As many of you know, my mom is a crafter. My dad has been going through his cancer treatments, and recently had surgery on that evil thing, and my mom has gotten a little behind on her card making. My mother-in-law also likes to craft, but her eyesight isn't what it was. So, I got to thinkin'! (A dangerous pastime, I know!) After discussing it with hubby, as an early Christmas present, I got a kit for BOTH ladies!

BUT, let's face it. 16 cards each isn't a whole lot for these two women. So I also got a package of Very Vanilla cardstock. I cut the Paper Pumpkin base in half so I could get TWO cards out of each one, and I adhered the printed half card base to the Very Vanilla cardstock. That immediately DOUBLED my cards and made 32!

Now onto the NOEL piece. Hmmm.... I didn't have a die that would work, although there are several in the catalog, I just didn't have those in my inventory. I really liked the Party Pennants Bigz L die, but couldn't get it in time. What's a girl to do? Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. So that's what I did!

You betcha! I used my Labels Collection Framelits, to give it a fancy decorative edge, along with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and I made my own! FYI - it did take quite a bit of improving, adapting, and overcoming to get the silly thing lined up right, but I finally was able to fiddle with it enough that it worked. The Party Pennants die would have been MUCH easier!

I also used an old alphabet set that matched the font for these two ladies. I've since made my OWN set and used the Little Letters Thinlits and those are really nice! And using my trusty-dusty 2-Way Glue Pen, put them on the cutout piece. Then I sent the boy to Florida to give the set to my mom. My mother-in-law was just here a few weeks ago, and we made our own assembly line and put hers together while she was visiting.

Here are my mother-in-law's. All 32 of them!
Dawn's MIL - Nancy's cards

What do you think? Hubby was in charge of the stamping "Wishing You a Merry Christmas," MIL was in charge of the stars and adhering the artwork to the front, and we ALL added the star garland to the fronts. I pulled out a few inside Christmas sayings, and my MIL made a few different card sayings.

So fast forward to Friday. Dad had his surgery on Wednesday and mom has been with him almost the entire time. She did go home to shower and change, but she brought this kit with her to the hospital. Check out what SHE did!
Dawn's mom - Donna's cards

I don't care what others say, crafting really does soothe the soul. Now you notice, my mom likes a slightly darker red, so instead of Real Red, she used Cherry Cobbler. She also stamped a few of the stars where the star garland is, and added a little bit of silver cording (retired).

Now, both ladies have 32 Christmas cards handmade by them, stamped, ready-to-go, all in plenty of time for Christmas! My MIL even told me that she didn't send any out last year because she just didn't have time! Now she's all set!

Hope you enjoyed the cards! Check back in a day or two and I'll post the video for THIS year's Paper Pumpkin kit! These are really pretty too! Hopefully, they will have the extras available for sale shortly, but remember, you DO have to be a subscriber to order the past kits too!

Paper Pumpkin Christmas Card and Trim the Tree DSP Tags - Stampin' Up!

Crafters -

The November Coffee and Card Hour was so much fun!

Make sure you read to the end of this posting,
if YOU would like to receive this Christmas card and tag set
as a FREE gift during November!

Check out what we made (the links for the items we used are listed by the photos):

AND four tags!

And here are the individual close-ups:

Using Little Letters Thinlits and Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack
with some Champagne Glimmer Paper
A few used the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder (scallop design) on the J-O-Y letters
before they attached the letters to the tag!

Serene Silhouettes Tag
Using Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso markers on the stamp
THIS was the favorite, BY FAR!

So stinkin' easy! AND we were done in less than one hour!

One of my friends from work even brought her 6-year old daughter. This little girl KNEW what she was doing!

And we used papers that coordinated with the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Pack. Don't forget - that paper is only available in the Holiday Catalog through January 5, 2015 OR WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

The November Coffee and Card Class was the last one of its kind. However, it seemed to fit into the schedule of several crafters.

With January bringing the new Spring Occasions Catalog, along with Sale-a-Bration in January, February and March - how about a NEW class?

The one-hour time frame is REALLY popular! So, it will be from 9a-10a but it will be on Saturdays only. We will make three cards in one hour and the cost will be $10. You will need to bring your favorite adhesives and scissors to the class. AND since this is during Sale-a-Bration, when you place a qualifying Sale-a-Bration order DURING THE CLASS, your $10 class fee will be refunded! WIN-WIN-WIN and SCORE for a free class and free product! Check my CLASSES page for the most up-to-date information. Tentative dates are listed now.

FREE GIFT with November orders
Would you like a set of the Christmas Card and Gift Tags that we made during the November class? Place your ONLINE order of $50 or more AND use Hostess Code WUVBEGJB, and I'll send you a set with my Thank You card in December. After you place your online order, send me an email and I'll get those ready for you!

Weekly Deals - Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit - Stampin' Up!

WOW! Stampin' Up! has announced this week's Weekly Deals. You can look at them HERE. Keep reading until the end for a SPOILER ALERT too!

There were several items that caught my eye this week! I have really liked that For the Birds stamp set for a while, just couldn't justify the cost. You may find this shocking, but I have a NUMBER of stamp sets. Probably too many, but is there ever really too many?

During this Weekly Deal, the wood mount set is actually LESS than the clear mount set! And with my Coffee and Card Technique Class this month using Blender Pens, what a GREAT set to use! Shame mine won't be here in time for the class though... Oh well, you will take your newfound knowledge and you can order the set while you are here on Friday or Saturday!

And the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit! Go ahead, click on it and it will take you to my Stampin' Up! website where you can order it. Just go and LOOK at the pictures. Doesn't really do the kit justice. Check below and click on the photo - what do you think now?
Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit
One of this week's Weekly Deals

I would LOVE to take credit for this, but I saw this at the Columbus, Ohio, Stampin' Up! Unite and Excite event earlier this year. Another demonstrator had hers displayed there. SO, I liked it so much I made one with MY 20 cards from MY kit. Of course, the retail value was about $20 when I ordered mine. YOU can now get it for about $15 with the Weekly Deals! Cute cards, huh? The Stampin' Dimensionals and everything is included. I only had to use my scissors to cut the Baker's Twine! 20 handstamped cards for about $15. THAT is a GREAT deal!

And finally, here's the SPOILER ALERT.

Alrighty then, that should be far enough down the screen. Beginning October 1st and continuing through October 6th ONLY, Stampin' Up! is going to have a Stamp, Stock, and Save Sale! I've been a demonstrator for about 10 years now, and this is the FIRST time this has happened. There are a SELECT FEW stamp sets that will be 20% off (one of my FAVORITES, Petite Pairs, is on the list). There will also be 15% off on 8.5"x11" cardstock, envelopes, Fast Fuse and refills, and even the Classic Stampin' Ink Pads! If you are one of my customers, I sent an email this morning with more information. If you'd like more information, send me an email! I'd love to add you to my email list!

To sweeten this Stamp, Stock, and Save Sale (October 1 through 6 ONLY), when you place your $50 or more MERCHANDISE order - that's before shipping and tax - and you place your order ONLINE using Hostess Code 2ZKDY7PW, send me an email after you place your order. Let me know if you like SILVER or GOLD! I will drop off/send you YOUR silver or gold after the sale has ended! Remember, this offer is only good through me, Dawn Stock, not Stampin' Up!

October Coffee Card Hour - Stampin' Up!

Crafters -

Anyone remember the 1992 movie "My Cousin Vinny" with Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei? Now, I know I'm dating myself here, but I do! Of course it helps that my hubby is a HUGE movie buff (and likes Marisa Tomei!).

But here is a really quick 2-second blip from the movie. (If you are receiving this via email, you will need to go to my blog to watch this):

Did you catch it? Marisa Tomei says to Joe Pesci "Oh yeah, you blend." If you haven't seen the movie, it is really funny about how he doesn't really "blend" with the locals.  :)

Who would have ever thought of Stampin' Up! when viewing My Cousin Vinny? Me, of course!

How about US blending? With Stampin' Up! Blender Pens! At my July downline meeting, there was a question about blender pens. Then at the September Coffee Card Hour/Technique, someone else mentioned it. I'm sensing that Blender Pens may not be getting their full credit! These things are WONDERFUL!

SO, with the holidays fast approaching, and so many of us like to color our designs, how about we use the Blender Pens and really get our technique on?! Of course, we will blend WAY better than Joe Pesci does in My Cousin Vinny!

As an added bonus, I'll also do a quick blending DEMONSTRATION using my Blendabilities markers. You will absolutely LOVE the effect you get with these!

Look forward to seeing you on October 3rd or 4th!

UPDATE! Coffee and Cards - Serene Silhouettes - Stampin' Up!

Crafters –

The Coffee and Cards Class, that one-hour/technique class I’m starting this month, is on THIS Friday and Saturday. It seems like September just started at the beginning of the week and now here we are – close to Friday! Has Friday and Saturday always been at the end of the week?

Seriously, the September 5th and 6th Coffee and Cards Class is right around the corner. It will be from 9am until 10am. When you attend, you will make one of the cards (the actual Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper design may vary – but you will have several choices!).
** If you are unable to attend, read at the end how YOU can receive the PDF tutorial on the September Coffee and Cards Class. **

We will be sponging, heat embossing AND dry embossing using the new Filigree Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (page 15 of the Holiday catalog). Add a little bit of ribbon and this card really pops!
September Coffee and Card Hour

When you attend this Coffee and Card Class, the cost is just $5 to make one of these cards AND get a nice cup of coffee! Remember... no decaf in this house! If you want decaf, I’ll have a nice glass of water for you.  :)

All you need to bring is just your adhesives and your scissors. One cup of coffee, one card, $5! And for the September Coffee and Cards Class, you will use THREE different techniques!

When you place a $25 order while you are here, I'll even refund your $5 fee! Want the written tutorial AND the class for free? Place a $50 order while you are here and I’ll email the tutorial to you after the class!

The September dates and times are:
Friday, September 5 - 9am-10am
Saturday, September 6 - 9am-10am

The link to my online store is just to the right on this blog. The link to the original blog posting is HERE. You can always view my classes schedule HERE.

I received a note from one of my friends and here’s what Beth had to say:
Any chance that we, the underprivileged, who cannot attend your coffee and card class can somehow benefit also?? Perhaps a written tutorial?? The cards look fabulous!!!! I hate not being able to attend.

She is such a hoot – underprivileged, HA! How come I didn’t think of a written tutorial?! The good thing is that she is in the process of moving from Puerto Rico to a so-much-closer state. Hopefully, she will be able to attend a future class. BUT, in the meantime, if you are like my friend Beth and unable to attend, I’m in the process of writing a tutorial.

If you are interested in the written PDF tutorial via email, I will be making it available to those who place a $50 online merchandise order (before tax and shipping/handling) AND use Hostess Code GAVSETBC during the month of September. If you are unsure how to use the Hostess Code feature, please let me know – I can help you with that! Send me an email after you have placed the online order using the Hostess Code and I will email the PDF to you!

Also – if you place a workshop order in September, either in person or online, you will also receive the PDF tutorial via email. Just email me AFTER you place your order and I will email the PDF to you!

Looking forward to Friday and Saturday!
