Chipboard Bird Book

Crafters -

We made these Chipboard Bird Books at my upline's meeting earlier this month. I'm just now getting around to posting the pictures. Remember, you can click on the individual pictures to enlarge them.

Shelli Gardner (yes, Cofounder and CEO of Stampin'Up!) showed one of these at Leadership in January and it was a BIG hit there!

This sample uses the Bella Bleu DSP (I did a card class using that paper and Thoughts & Prayers Stamp set last year). And I gave my birdie some pearl eyes (leftovers from my Pretties kit - gonna have to order a new one of those!). I painted the reverse side of each of my birdies. Then sponged all of them with Not Quite Navy. And although the Bird book comes with a chain, I used Kraft Taffeta Ribbon to tie it all together. I think it looks much nicer with the ribbon, what do you think?

Hope you enjoy this - if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Easter Card

Crafters -

One of my very talented downline, Pam, designed this card for our Easter card to send to our church shut-ins. Everyone provides their own papers, but everyone uses the same design.

After Diane and Tom had collected the cards, it looked like a rainbow. All of the colors, some used brads, others ribbons, different punches, different coloring mediums (markers, pencils, crayons). I should have taken a picture of all of them. They are just beautiful. The stamp set is Abundant Hope and the punch is the new one that can be earned for FREE during Sale-a-bration. The card supplies are all non-SU!

Enjoy! and Thanks to Pam for a wonderful card design!
